Restoring the Future

The Father’s Heart Ministry Center has been a symbol of hope for the community and a beacon for the poor, hungry and immigrant since 1868. While the ways we have reached out to the community have changed throughout the years, our services and celebration of faith have been continuous since our building's construction. Our doors have never closed, even temporarily..

Through the years we have put people first above all other matters, doing small maintenance and repairs jobs along the way, but now the age of the building requires much more as people’s needs and our services have changed over 139 years. Without substantial renovation, our ability to meet the needs of our community may be affected because our building can no longer accommodate the demands we must place upon it. Restoring our building will help us to restore more lives, and continue to be a stabilizing force in our community

To accomplish our goal we have partnered with America’s Second Harvest, the largest domestic hunger-relief organization in the US, however we have to do our part to raise funds and for this we need your help. The first phase of our renovation will cost $70,000. America's Second Harvest has contributed $44,000 and we need to raise the remaining $26,000. We have already raised $17,700.00.
