Inspiration

If your life is weighed down with bad choices, hurt and pain, broken relationships, good news! God, our father, has made a way through His Son, Jesus, to address the hurt and pain of your broken relationships, bad choices, guilt and shame, and sin that has caused you to be separated from God your father.

You see, God came to earth in human form - Jesus - to take our punishment for us. "God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them." [2 Corinthians 5:19] When Jesus hung on that cross, He received all of mankind’s sins, depravation, degradation and diseases for all time. When He died, the power of sin and sickness was broken for all time. That’s why "Daddy’s not angry - you can come home!" Our punishment has already been paid for by Jesus Christ!

"Surely he hath borne our griefs [sickness, disease], and carried our sorrows [physical and mental pain]: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded [profaned, defiled, polluted, desecrated] for our transgressions [rebellion], he was bruised [crushed] for our iniquities [perversity, depravity, guilt]: the chastisement of our peace [completeness, soundness, welfare, prosperity, safety, health] was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." [Isaiah 53:4, 5]

If you believe in God, and believe that His Word is true that He sent His Son to be punished instead of you, you can approach God right now. "In him [Jesus] we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding." [Ephesians 1:7]

Please pray this prayer to have the weight of sin and sorrow lifted off you. As you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart, you will be "born again." [Romans 10:9-10] You will meet Jesus!

Lord Jesus, I need You in my life, I believe You are the Son of God and that You died on the cross for me. Please forgive me for my sins and create a clean heart in me. Renew my spirit so that I can hear Your voice. I accept You as my Savior! You are my Lord!
