Regrets

Do you have regrets? Are you tired of living with the consequences of the mistakes you made? Do you want a new life? Hear Jesus’ words to you:

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." [Matthew 11:28-30]

Do you want a new life? Jesus invites you to His kingdom. It is the Kingdom of God. These are Jesus’ words: "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." [John 3:3] "You should not be surprised at my saying, `You must be born again.' The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit." [John 3:7, 8]

When you ask Jesus to come into your life and take over, you are born again by the Holy Spirit. This is what happens next: "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God -- children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God." [John 1:12, 13] "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." [2 Corinthians 5:17]

How do you know you are born again or saved? You know by believing, or having faith in God’s Word that says so. " For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -- Ephesians 2:8 " If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. [1 John 1:9]
