Fear

Are you afraid? Scared of the events or situations around you? Don't allow fear to grip your heart! God's Word says "He will give His angels [especial] charge over you, to accompany you and defend and preserve you in all your ways." [Psalm 91:11] Say this prayer based on Psalm 91:

Heavenly Father, I choose to live in Your shelter . . . the shelter of the Most High God and I will rest in the protection of the Almighty. I will say, “the Lord is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Surely You will save me from the one who has set a trap for me and from deadly plagues or diseases. You will hide me under Your wings and there I will be protected.

I will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrows, bullets, or knives that fly by day, nor the biological or chemical warfare that stalks in the darkness or the plague that destroys at midday.

A thousand may fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand, but it will not come near me. I will only observe with my eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

Because I choose to make the Most High God my dwelling, even the Lord who is my refuge, no harm will befall me, no disaster will come near my house. For You, the Lord, will command your angels concerning me to guard me in all my ways. They will lift me up in their hands so that I will not be harmed. I will be safe when I face any enemy and I will trample them under my feet.

God said, “Because he loves me, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.”
